- 6 to 7 cups peeled and sliced apples (Cortland type)
Caramel:
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup maple sugar
- 1 cup cream 35%
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup butter
PREPARATION
- Preheat the oven to 400 ° F.
- Mix flour and maple sugar together.
- Add maple syrup and 35% cream, then mix well. Microwave oven for about 2 minutes at maximum power.
- Add the butter in small caramel pieces, mix and cook in the microwave for 2 to 3 minutes, until the mixture thickens, stirring regularly. Be careful, the mixture tends to cook on the edges.

- Spread 1/2 to 3/4 cup of caramel on apples per pie. Cover with a drop and seal the lathe. If desired, brush with a beaten egg.
- Bake 40-45 minutes.
- Let cool and serve.
Bon appétit!
