Recipe: Long macaroni with meat.
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 pound of lean ground meat
- 1 Italian tomato can
- 1 can tomato juice
- 2 cans of tomato cream soup
- Butter
- chopped onion
- salt and pepper
PREPARATION:
- Cook the pasta.
- Meanwhile cook the minced meat with the onion in a little butter.
- Add the cans and bring to a boil.
- Drain the pasta, add the meat mixture.
- Bring to a boil again.
- Adjust seasoning.
- Serve with mashed potatoes as my mother did.
- Gratin the macaroni for even more taste
- * Sometimes my mother replaced the tomato juice with the broth of a remaining baked pallet roast and the ground meat by the remaining roast paddle. A PURE DELIGHT.
