Recipe: Cream puffs as in time!
INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup of water
1/4 cup of vegetable fat
1/2 cup of baking flour
2 eggs
Sweet whipped cream, flavored with vanilla
or pastry cream
PREPARATION
Step 1
Bring the water and vegetable fat to a boil. Add the baking flour at once, sieving, stirring constantly until the dough forms a ball.
Step 2
Remove from heat, let cool and add eggs, one by one, beating strongly after each addition. Continue beating until the mixture is smooth and velvety.
Step 3
On a greased cookie sheet with a spoon, drop 6 scoops of dough 3 inches apart. Bake for 15 minutes in an oven preheated to 450 ° F. Reduce the heat to 350 ° F. and continue cooking for 30 to 35 minutes.
Step 4
Let cool slowly.
Open and fill with whipped cream or better, custard
