Ingredients
1/2 cup of warm water
1 tsp of sugar
2 active yeast sachets
4 cups of warm water
3 tbsp of sugar
3 tbsp of salt
3 tbsp of vegetable oil
12 cups of all-purpose flour
Directions
Step 1
In a bowl, mix 1/2 cup warm water and 1 tsp of sugar. Mix to dissolve the sugar. Add the traditional yeast sachets. Let stand 15 minutes.
Step 2
In a large round bowl that is used only for bread or a large quantity of patties, put 4 cups of warm water, 3 tbsp of sugar, 3 tbsp of salt and 3 tbsp of oil. Shake well with a whisk.
Add the yeast mixture (after 15 minutes rest) and stir.
Step 3
Sift the all-purpose flour.
Step 4
Stir in 1 cup (250 mL) of flour at a time, gradually mixing with warm water and whisking.
