The sugar pie of Mario Pelchat's mother
INGREDIENTS
300 ml (1 1/4 cup) of brown sugar
45 ml (3 tbsp) maple syrup
60 ml (1/4 cup) of flour
275 ml (1 1/2 cups) cream 35%
1 pinch of salt
1 commercial short pastry
PREPARATION
1.Heat the oven to 180 ° C (350 ° F).
2. In a saucepan, mix the first 5 ingredients and
bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to medium and continue the
stirring for about 5 minutes, until the mixture
has thickened.
3. allow the filling to warm to room temperature
10 minutes.
4. darken a tart pan with the dough and pour in the filling.
Bake 30 minutes.
