Recipe: Corn Flakes pie
INGREDIENTS
Crust
5 cups Corn Flakes
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter or margerine, melted
custard
3 egg yolks
1/2 cup of sugar
4 cups of milk
4 tbsp cornstarch (dissolved in a little water)
1 tsp vanilla
Meringue
3 egg whites
1/4 cup of sugar
PREPARATION
Crust
Crumble the Corn Flakes, add the brown sugar and melted butter.
Put in the oven for 10 minutes at 450 ° F.
custard
Cook over medium heat the first 3 ingredients until the milk is very hot.
Add cornstarch and stir until thickened.
Remove from heat and add vanilla.
Spread on the crust of Corn Flakes.
Meringue
Whisk the egg whites, add the sugar and spread on the cossetarde.
