Cabbage Soup Recipe
INGREDIENTS
750 ml coarsely chopped cabbage
1/2 cup grated carrots
2 tbsp butter
1/2 cup chopped leek
10 cups beef broth
1 tsp salted herbs
1 tsp chopped fresh parsley
Salt
Pepper
PREPARATION
STEP 1
In a saucepan, brown cabbage, carrots and leek in butter for 15 minutes, stirring regularly.
STEP 2
Add beef broth, salted herbs and parsley.
STEP 3
Bring to a boil and season.
STEP 4
Simmer halfway through for 1 hour.
