Dissolve the sugar in warm water and sprinkle with yeast. Set aside 10 minutes. Brew.
In a large bowl, put 2 cups of water, salt, oil and warm water containing the yeast. Stir well. Add half of the flour. Beat until the dough is smooth. Add the rest of the flour, 1 cup at a time. Knead this dough on a floured surface for 10 minutes. Put the dough in the bowl, cover with a damp cloth and let the dough swell in a warm place, until it has doubled in size.
Lower it with your fist and knead again for 8 minutes. Divide the dough into 2 and place in two buttered bread molds. Let rise at double the size again.
When the bread is well inflated, bake at 400 ° F (200 ° C) for 35 to 40 minutes.
Bon appétit!
